Beverley leads the team. She is a specialist transport law practitioner and expert in the commercial vehicle industry. On those rare occasions when she’s not working – and as those who know Beverley often hear her say – she likes to eat chocolate, drink gin, and watch old black and white films on the TV. We are pleased to report she doesn’t get to do this as often as she would like, but there is nothing we can do to stop her buying new shoes, boots and handbags when she pleases.
Chris has over 30 years in the transport industry and, thankfully, enjoys the tachograph analysis side of the business. He is a keen fair weather golfer and is co-coach for an under 13’s football team. Chris and his partner are foster carers and they dedicate time to this, not to mention their five children and three grandchildren.
Claire takes care of all things finance. She is a whizz with numbers and will be able to assist you with any queries you might have. Claire hates to run – although we think the 15k a week she runs contradicts this! She enjoys travelling to exotic destinations and spending time with her family.
Diane is the first port of call for many of our clients. She is the friendly face you will see, or voice you will hear, when you contact our office. Diane likes all things Cumbria – whether it is the weather, or the ice cream from Egremont. Like Joanna, she enjoys walking with her spaniel, and loves to drive.
Working to support Beverley, Joanna will guarantee your matter receives the attention and direction it requires. She is our Practice Manager, ensuring the smooth running of our business. Joanna loves the theatre, likes to read , and watch very bad TV. When not at work, Joanna can usually be found up a ladder, working on a house renovation or walking her very naughty, but very cute, cockapoo dog.
With a background in road transport and warehousing, health, safety and training, Mark’s primary role is to identify and support our clients’ compliance needs. Mark is a good listener and loves nothing better than delving into an operation to understand how it ticks and how we can best assist by sharing industry best practice and implementing bespoke solutions. Mark enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, writing music and generally acting like a want-to-be Rockstar.
Neil has senior management experience in the road transport and engineering private sectors. He enjoys all things sports related, with a passion for football – although this has been recently challenged with the demise of his team, Bury FC. A family man who enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren. Like Paul, he has an interest in photography, enjoys watching live music and doesn’t mind a spot of DIY.
Paul has had a varied life in the vehicle industry and brings extensive public and private sector experience and knowledge to support the business. Paul can always be relied upon to view the lighter side of life. A professional photographer who has won awards for his stunning pet images, Paul loves spending his down time with his wife, grand-daughter and his two bearded collies.
