Important Update for Transport Operators: Action Required
The Office of the Traffic Commissioner has announced significant changes to modernise services and adopt a fully digital process. These updates will impact how operators manage Transport Manager changes and surrender licences.
Key Date: 31 January 2025
From this date, the TM1 form will no longer be accepted. All changes to Transport Managers and applications to surrender an operator’s licence must be completed using the Vehicle Operator Licensing (VOL) system.
This change is part of an ongoing effort to enhance efficiency and streamline services.
What You Need to Do:
– Ensure you are familiar with the VOL system to process Transport Manager updates and licence surrender applications.
– Take action now to avoid disruptions to your operations.
